Online Reading Games for Preschool Through Second Grade
One of my favorite interactive reading sites for kids preschool through second grade is Starfall.com. This site is a free public service to teach children to read using phonics. Have your children start with the Starfall ABC’s, then have them move on to the Learn To Read section, next is the It’s Fun to Read page, and finally I’m Reading. The site includes a parent information page explaining their site.
For further help, use our sight word pages. We have sight word lists for short vowels, long vowels, and R-controlled words. We also have Dolch and Ekwall sight words (lists of words you see often while reading).
