About the archive and current publisher

Teacher Help For Parents was a blog written by a teacher for parents of school age children: reading and writing help, math and science activities, free printables and word lists, and ideas for every season and holiday. It published from 2010 until the late 2010s, and then the domain lapsed — the hosting turned it into a parking page and the site was gone.

Where these pages come from

The material was recovered from captures in the Internet Archive. For each address the last capture made while the blog was still itself was used, so the text is the version its author published. The addresses are kept: an old link to /2013/11/thanksgiving-poetry-writing-sensory-poems-for-kids-free-printables still opens the same post, now at a shorter address.

What is missing

Only what the archive kept could come back. Comments were not saved. Some images have no capture at all; where a picture is missing the text stands without it. The free printables were files on the old host, and those the archive rarely kept. Tag and search listings were not restored: they were lists of the same posts.

Who the texts belong to

The posts and photographs belong to their original author, and the date and the name under a post stand as they were published. If you wrote something here and want it changed or taken down, that will happen — the point of this archive is to keep the blog readable, not to take it over. New guides and the current publisher

The current site is operated by the team behind Geopapa, a family location app. New guides carry the byline “Teacher Help For Parents editorial team” and their actual publication date. They are not written or endorsed by the original archive author, and we do not present the current team as the teacher who wrote the older posts.

We have a commercial interest in Geopapa. Where a guide includes our app, it says so and links to the relevant product information. We explain free alternatives and product limitations and do not claim independent comparative testing. Links to our product may contain referral parameters identifying the guide and link placement.

New guides focus on school routines and family communication. Product descriptions are checked against named official documentation; examples and worksheets are planning aids, not school policy or attendance records. Follow your own school’s procedures for absence, phone use and pickup.
